Committed to excellence, our team is composed of highly skilled professionals, including two licensed physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant. Our practice focuses on providing care primarily for patients with private medical insurance, ensuring they receive the highest quality of treatment.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our Chantilly, Virginia location, allowing for a dynamic and interactive work environment. Our facility is designed for optimal patient interaction, featuring advanced therapeutic equipment that enhances treatment efficacy. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with flexible shifts available from either 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing an excellent work-life balance while still meeting the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and document patients' needs, objectives, and progress to create individualized treatment strategies.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, delivering focused and comprehensive therapy sessions.
• Implement evidence-based interventions that prioritize reduced reliance on medications through physical rehabilitation.
• Employ various treatment techniques to enhance patient mobility and overall physical function.
• Design and administer tailored fitness and wellness programs that assist patients in achieving their health goals.
• Continuously monitor treatment outcomes and modify care plans in collaboration with patients to ensure optimal results.
• Provide motivation and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to enhance compliance and positive outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient care services and progress in accordance with industry regulations and facility standards.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients who are recovering from various injuries or surgeries. You will engage with a diverse demographic ranging from athletes seeking rehabilitation to older patients looking to enhance mobility and relieve chronic pain. Your expertise will guide patients through their recovery process, providing them with essential tools to maximize their functionality.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques and a solid foundation in exercise science.
• Experience in creating and implementing effective exercise protocols tailored to specific patient needs.
• Proficiency with WebPT EMR Software for scheduling, documentation, and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• A background in sports medicine or injury prevention would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience.
