Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and spans over 5,000 square feet, designed specifically for sports medicine and rehabilitation. Work Environment

The work setting is onsite in our comfortable and well-equipped outpatient office located in Ashburn, Virginia. You will be part of a close-knit team that includes two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all of whom work together to enhance the patient experience. Our regular hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' objectives and tailor treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a caseload of up to one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives dedicated time and care.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to enhance patients' mobility and functionality effectively.
• Develop and implement specific rehabilitation strategies aimed at reducing dependence on medications and promoting non-surgical options.
• Craft individualized fitness and wellness programs that enhance overall health and physical capabilities.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all patient evaluations and treatment services provided.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive approaches to patient care.
• Empower patients through motivation, education, and support to pursue healthy lifestyle choices that foster long-term improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adult patients experiencing orthopedic issues, including post-surgical recovery, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Each patient presents unique challenges, requiring you to adapt your therapy techniques innovatively. Your expertise will directly contribute to restoring motion and enhancing the quality of life for our patients.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid Virginia license to practice as a Physical Therapist, with a clean professional record and no history of disciplinary action.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation methodologies.
• Exceptional ability to create and implement tailored exercise protocols based on individual patient needs.
• Proficient in the use of WebPT EMR Software to maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred, showcasing your capability to handle diverse patient scenarios.
• Strong skills in motivational interviewing and patient engagement strategies to foster adherence to treatment plans.
• Familiarity with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement options, and paid time off.
