Work Environment

This onsite position is located within our modern rehabilitation center in picturesque Leesburg, Virginia, a vibrant community offering rich cultural history and outdoor recreational opportunities. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a structured schedule that encourages work-life balance and allows for personal time outside of work.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop tailored treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries.
• Deliver one-on-one care, maintaining a manageable patient load to ensure that each patient receives ample attention and personalized treatment.
• Utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques and treatment modalities to promote healing and restore function.
• Emphasize non-surgical treatment options, guiding patients on alternatives to medications whenever possible.
• Monitor and assess progress, adjusting treatment plans to meet the evolving needs of patients.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately using EMR software, specifically Web PT.
• Motivate and encourage patients, fostering a positive environment that promotes engagement and accountability throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Engage in continual professional development, staying current on new research and techniques in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical patients, athletes dealing with sports-related injuries, and adults facing mobility challenges due to age-related issues. You will work with a diverse clientele aiming to regain strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, allowing them to achieve their personal health and wellness goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active and unencumbered Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Proven expertise in orthopedic physical therapy practices with demonstrated manual therapy skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient engagement and motivation.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for documentation and record-keeping.
• A strong commitment to continued education and staying abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic setting is highly desirable.
• A track record of developing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Prior experience with evidence-based treatment strategies and alternative therapies.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and continuing education allowances to support professional development.
