Care Medical is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our outpatient facility located in Leesburg, Virginia. Work Environment

Your workspace will be in a modern outpatient office that spans 5,000 square feet and includes well-equipped therapy rooms designed for optimal patient interactions. The clinic boasts advanced rehabilitation technology and resources, which facilitate a comprehensive approach to patient care. With a flexible work schedule typically from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, we prioritize work-life balance, allowing you to manage your professional commitments effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify individual goals and needs, ensuring personalized treatment plans.
• Administer one-on-one therapy sessions, with a patient load of approximately one every 40 minutes, allowing for focused and thorough attention.
• Utilize an array of treatment techniques and modalities to enhance motion and mobility, while striving to reduce reliance on medications and unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Develop tailored fitness and wellness programs aimed at fostering patient engagement and long-term health improvements.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and modify treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and care services accurately using our EMR system, Athena Health, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, consulting with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic patient care.
• Empower patients through motivation and education, promoting lifestyles that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and overall coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, as well as athletes requiring rehabilitation to improve strength and balance. Our practice serves a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on commercial insurance patients and private pay clients. Your clinical expertise will directly impact their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain independence and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; a graduate degree such as an MS or DPT is preferred.
• A valid Virginia State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong foundational knowledge and clinical expertise in orthopedic physical therapy practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively manage patient relationships and communicate treatment plans.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with industry advancements.
• Ability to adapt treatment approaches based on individual patient needs and varying personalities.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is required, with a preference for candidates who have 2 years or more of direct orthopedic care experience.
• Involvement in developing specialized rehabilitation programs is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for the Orthopedic Physical Therapist position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
