Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our expansive 5,000-square-foot outpatient facility located in Leesburg, Virginia. Our team consists of skilled physical therapists and rehabilitation aides who are committed to providing personalized attention and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify the specific rehabilitation goals and needs of each patient through comprehensive evaluations.
• Manage a patient caseload typically averaging one patient per hour, ensuring that each individual receives focused and effective treatment.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient settings to design, implement, and monitor tailored treatment plans that address patients' unique conditions.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions that enhance patients' range of motion and mobility while promoting independence and reducing reliance on medications.
• Explore non-invasive alternatives to surgical procedures, providing patients with a holistic approach to their orthopedic care.
• Develop customized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's recovery goals, incorporating a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring clear communication with patients and other healthcare providers regarding treatment outcomes.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive environment that encourages active participation in their healing process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We aim to help our clients regain their functional mobility and achieve long-term health goals through personalized rehabilitation programs. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid Virginia state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Clean professional record with no history of board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong clinical foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Expertise in developing effective exercise protocols catering to diverse patient needs.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly experience with WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy setting.
• Familiarity with utilizing advanced rehabilitation technologies to aid in patient recovery.
• Experience in mentoring physical therapy assistants and contributing to a collaborative clinical environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to USD 140,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, continuing education allowances, and opportunities for professional development.
