Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, with services delivered directly in patients' homes, allowing for a personalized therapeutic approach. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' needs through comprehensive assessments and establish tailored treatment plans in conjunction with referring physicians.
• Implement and monitor evidence-based therapeutic interventions that align with best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Deliver care directly in patients' homes, utilizing techniques and modalities appropriate for their individual rehabilitation goals.
• Proactively educate and empower patients and their caregivers about injury prevention and wellness strategies to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Chart and maintain accurate patient records, ensuring all interventions align with physicians' instructions and documentation guidelines.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, sharing insights and progress to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and contribute to the clinic's overall success through teamwork and positive patient interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Pro - Ace Recovery Center, you will primarily work with patients recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and post-traumatic rehabilitation. You will encounter a diverse clientele ranging from active athletes to seniors requiring assistance with functional daily activities, enabling you to utilize an array of therapeutic modalities tailored to each unique situation.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly focusing on orthopedic treatment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

Preferred Experience

• A background in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
• Experience in home health settings and knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrable ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations.
• Experience in providing patient education and leading group therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits
