Work Environment

This position will be onsite in our professional wellness center, which prioritizes a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. You will work alongside two experienced physical therapists and a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), collaborating on patient care plans while sharing knowledge and expertise. Our treatment facility is well-equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and modalities designed to facilitate effective orthopedic rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to define personal rehabilitation goals and establish evidence-based care plans.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, ensuring focused, personalized attention to each client.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises tailored to enhance mobility and reduce pain.
• Develop and implement cost-effective treatment strategies to minimize reliance on medications and consider alternatives to surgery.
• Design customized fitness and wellness programs that address the unique needs and lifestyles of each patient.
• Provide ongoing patient motivation and education, encouraging adherence to treatment plans and fostering a proactive approach to health.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams to enhance comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and care delivery accurately and transparently using EMR systems, notably WebPT.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and make necessary adjustments to enhance recovery pathways.
• Ensure a supportive and encouraging atmosphere, facilitating an engaging recovery experience for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, addressing a diverse range of conditions including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain management, and orthopedic conditions. Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Demonstration of an exemplary professional history, with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Ability to design and implement effective exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is necessary for efficient documentation and patient progress tracking.

Preferred Experience

• A proven track record of successful interventions in orthopedic settings, showcasing specific outcomes and patient success stories.
• Experience in developing patient-centered care plans that yield measurable improvements in mobility and overall health.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
