Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to assess their functional capabilities, mobility issues, and limitations related to orthopedic conditions, developing a personalized treatment plan that addresses their specific needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions by employing various techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and electrotherapy, consistently updating care plans based on patient progress.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team, providing education on treatment strategies and self-management techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians to discuss patient status and treatment changes, ensuring continuity of care throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Supervise, mentor, and train physical therapy assistants, students, and support staff to promote an effective learning environment within the clinic.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives and marketing efforts, enhancing the clinic's visibility and support within the local demographic.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development, attending workshops and seminars to enhance your skills and contribute to the clinic's culture of lifelong learning.
• Address patient inquiries and concerns, delivering exceptional customer service that aligns with our organizational standards.
• Assess and track treatment outcomes, adjusting plans as necessary to meet therapeutic goals effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work closely with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. You will be responsible for developing trust and rapport with patients of various ages and cultural backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as proficiency in computer use and electronic health record systems.
• A commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards in patient care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Previous experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
