Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments of patients to evaluate their physical abilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Design and implement personalized rehabilitation programs that reflect each patient's specific goals and limitations.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and soft tissue mobilization to alleviate pain and restore functionality.
• Document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
• Educate patients on exercises, postural awareness, and ergonomics to promote long-term recovery and overall health.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be primarily on outpatient orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions related to the musculoskeletal system. You will engage with a diverse group of individuals, tailoring interventions to meet their unique rehabilitation goals, whether they are aspiring to return to sports, work, or everyday activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
• Demonstrated proficiency in assessment and manual therapy techniques.
• Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a rehabilitation facility and familiarity with “Direct Access” patient care is preferred. Additional certifications in advanced manual therapy techniques or sports rehabilitation are a plus.
