Position Overview

Gentle Care Physical Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our team in Ashburn, Virginia. This full-time onsite position offers an exciting opportunity to support patients on their journey to recovery while working in a collaborative and patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in physical therapy, specializing in orthopedic care, and hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) along with a valid state license.

Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility in Ashburn provides a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for both patients and staff. The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and technologies that facilitate effective treatments. You will be part of a collaborative team environment, working alongside other health professionals committed to achieving optimal patient outcomes. The standard working schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients referred by physicians to develop customized treatment plans addressing their unique needs.
• Implement and adjust treatment protocols utilizing evidence-based practices to improve patient function and mobility.
• Provide high-quality therapeutic care within the clinic, adapting treatment techniques to align with each patient's recovery goals.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining effective communication with patients and their caregivers throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance care delivery and patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding exercises and lifestyle modifications to facilitate ongoing health and recovery.
• Achieve established utilization goals and contribute to the clinic's overall business objectives through effective patient management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role will be on patients rehabilitating from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery and injury management. You will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse patient population, spanning various ages and backgrounds, including pediatric and senior patients with specific needs related to neurology and sports medicine. Our commitment to individualized care ensures each session is tailored to promote optimal recovery and overall wellness.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a relevant physical therapy setting.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient computer and word processing skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
• A commitment to building and nurturing positive relationships with patients to facilitate exceeding their functional rehabilitation goals.
• A passion for engaging and connecting with diverse communities.

Preferred Experience

While a doctorate in physical therapy and relevant experience are required, candidates with additional specialties in pediatric therapy, neurological rehabilitation, or sports medicine are highly encouraged to apply. Previous experience in a private practice setting will be an asset, contributing to understanding the dynamics of patient interaction in a performance-driven environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
