Fit Movement Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and passionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our full-time team in Ashburn, Virginia. This is an onsite role focused within our outpatient facility, where you will work closely with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, helping them regain their mobility and improve their overall quality of life.

Work Environment

Our state-of-the-art outpatient facility boasts over 5,000 square feet of space dedicated to sports medicine and rehabilitation services. The center is equipped with modern therapeutic tools and technology designed to enhance treatment effectiveness. Here, you will collaborate with a small, dedicated team of two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, fostering a close-knit culture that prioritizes patient outcomes and professional development. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and assessments to identify patients' specific goals and treatment needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, incorporating various therapeutic techniques.
• Manage a patient caseload, with an expected frequency of one patient per hour to ensure quality interaction and personalized care.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to effectively enhance patients' range of motion, strength, and mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients on strategies to manage their conditions and motivate them to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient care.
• Promote injury prevention strategies to support patients in their recovery and future performance.
• Engage in ongoing professional education to stay current with advancements in physiotherapy techniques and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves patients who are covered by private health insurance. As a part of our team, you will work with a diverse population of individuals, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, post-operative patients, and those seeking rehabilitation for chronic orthopedic issues. You'll be instrumental in helping them manage pain, regain function, and elevate their physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions related to licensure.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and a solid foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT EMR software.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred.
• Proven ability to design and execute comprehensive exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in motivating and guiding patients through their rehabilitation journeys.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
