Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their specific needs.
• Implement and modify treatment programs, ensuring they are effective at alleviating pain and promoting mobility.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to guide treatment, focusing on achieving measurable outcomes.
• Provide skilled therapeutic care within the outpatient office, employing a variety of modalities and techniques that are consistent with the patient's physical therapy plan.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service by building rapport with patients and their families, addressing their concerns, and encouraging them throughout their recovery journey.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely, in compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and team members to maximize patient outcomes through integrated care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Advent Care, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals with orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports-related conditions. Your role will involve tailoring treatment approaches to address the unique challenges faced by each patient, promoting healing through compassionate and individualized care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an accredited organization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Proficient in using digital health records and documentation tools.
• Ability to develop strong therapeutic relationships with patients, fostering trust and motivation.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
