Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients to assess their physical limitations, needs, and rehabilitation goals.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans utilizing various modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education to optimize recovery and mobility.
• Regularly track patient progress, documenting treatments, progress notes, and outcomes to adjust care plans as required effectively.
• Engage with patients, caregivers, and families in meaningful ways to provide education on assistive devices, rehabilitation techniques, and self-care strategies for ongoing recovery at home.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals in coordinating care and ensuring that all aspects of the patient's recovery are addressed.
• Stay current with the latest physical therapy practices by attending workshops, participating in professional organizations, and maintaining a commitment to continuous learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Hold a current, valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Virginia.

• Proficient in using computer systems for documentation and patient management.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to care, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, although we encourage motivated new graduates who are committed to learning to apply.
• Experience treating outpatient populations and familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits
