Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic health issues to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including exercise regimens, hands-on techniques, and modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Educate patients and their families on proper therapeutic techniques, home exercises, and the use of assistive devices for enhanced recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, promoting coordinated treatment strategies.
• Stay current with best practices in physical therapy by participating in professional development workshops and engaging with ongoing research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to fractures, post-operative care following joint replacements, and injuries related to sports activities. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Doctorate is preferred.
• Current and valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

• Competency in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) and basic word processing tasks.
• Demonstrated agility and versatility in managing a diverse patient caseload.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
