Work Environment

Located in the vibrant town of Leesburg, VA, our outpatient practice provides a supportive and collaborative work environment. The clinic operates primarily during weekdays, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. As part of a closely-knit team of physical therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our facility's operations, directly engaging with patients and contributing to their rehabilitation paths.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to establish customized treatment plans and goals.
• Administer effective therapeutic interventions while monitoring and documenting patient progress regularly.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring quality of care without compromising efficiency.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance mobility and functional ability, minimizing reliance on medications through non-surgical strategies.
• Integrate various treatment techniques, including manual therapy and exercise-based interventions, while continually adapting care plans based on patient response.
• Develop and implement personalized fitness and wellness programs aligned with each patient's distinct needs.
• Create a motivating atmosphere by educating and encouraging patients throughout their treatment journey.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and comprehensive patient interventions.
• Document all patient care activities accurately for compliance and optimal communication within the healthcare team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves patients covered by private health insurance, encompassing a diverse demographic that includes athletes, active adults, and senior citizens. Each patient comes to us with unique orthopedic concerns, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Your role will be to empower these individuals through tailored treatments that focus not only on physical recovery but also on improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia with no pending disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills with a proven track record in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Proficiency in developing evidence-based exercise plans to facilitate recovery and improve patient outcomes.
• Comfort and familiarity with EMR systems, particularly with WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient care processes.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy, demonstrating a capacity to manage complex cases.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and retirement plan options.
