Work Environment

This position is based at our modern outpatient office located in the heart of Leesburg, VA, where you will work collaboratively with two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). The environment fosters teamwork and communication, enabling therapists to draw on one another's expertise and ensure all patients receive personalized care tailored to their specific needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for clients with orthopedic conditions.
• Manage a patient caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and thorough care during each session.
• Develop and modify care plans based on ongoing evaluations and feedback, using evidence-based interventions.
• Utilize a diverse range of therapy techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription, to promote recovery.
• Encourage patients throughout their therapy journey, motivating them to achieve their goals and optimize functional mobility.
• Document patient care accurately and in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to devise comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment regimens as necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Educate patients on the importance of maintaining physical health and fitness beyond therapy sessions.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and embody the values of our practice in every patient interaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at our practice, the majority of your patients will be individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or age-related conditions impacting mobility and function. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse population, each with unique therapy goals and backgrounds, allowing you to apply your expertise and make real differences in their lives.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possession of a valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• No history of board actions or disciplinary measures related to your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in orthopedic principles.
• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT, to streamline patient management and documentation processes.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings, enhancing your ability to provide tailored rehabilitation solutions.
• Proven track record of developing innovative fitness and wellness programs to address individual patient needs.
• Strong communication skills that facilitate collaboration with both colleagues and patients.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
