Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by their healthcare providers to develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions across various specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Utilize advanced treatment modalities and therapeutic exercises to enhance mobility and reduce pain.
• Document patient progress and outcomes meticulously to track improvements and refine treatment plans as necessary.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, consistently elevating patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, recovery strategies, and injury prevention.
• Provide support in meeting operational goals, including patient utilization metrics and overall clinic performance objectives.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of Virginia.
• A graduate of an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits
