Work Environment

You will work in an orthopedic outpatient setting, where our dedicated staff facilitates a welcoming and efficient therapy experience. You will typically manage 1 to 2 patients per hour, allowing you to provide focused attention and personalized therapy interventions that align with best practice standards and patient goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients to determine their needs and create tailored treatment plans that address orthopedic concerns.
• Deliver comprehensive physical therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to promote optimal recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure goals are met effectively and efficiently.
• Supervise and mentor rehabilitation assistants and technicians, fostering a collaborative environment focused on patient success.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
• Engage with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to optimize communication and enhance patient care outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Virginia.
• A valid American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• Proficiency in using physical therapy equipment and performing functional evaluations safely and effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
