Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations, identifying areas for improvement based on physician referrals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility and functional abilities.
• Implement skilled therapeutic services and techniques that align with the prescribed plan of care, ensuring each session is tailored to the patient's progress and specific needs.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation protocols, injury prevention strategies, and exercise routines to promote long-term well-being.
• Utilize an evidence-based approach to monitor patient progress, reassessing treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to maximize patient recovery, facilitating communication and integration of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Blast Tech, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Your role will also involve treating individuals across various specializations, including pediatric, neurologic, and geriatric populations. This diversity allows you to apply a broad spectrum of therapeutic techniques and approaches in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid and unrestricted state license to practice Physical Therapy.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably focused on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) and treatment documentation systems.
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with patients, exceeding their functional goals through a compassionate approach.
• Experience working within interdisciplinary teams, enhancing overall patient care and satisfaction.

Compensation and Benefits
