Work Environment

This position is designed for a qualified physical therapist who enjoys working in a home care setting within the picturesque community of Leesburg, Virginia. The role necessitates onsite interactions at patient homes, enabling you to provide personalized care tailored to individual needs. You will work a standard schedule of 40 hours per week, with some flexibility required for weekend appointments as needed. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with orthopedic concerns, developing personalized treatment plans based on each patient's unique functional limitations and goals.
• Deliver comprehensive consultations to healthcare providers regarding the continuum of care, ensuring effective communication and coordination across all involved parties.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient interactions, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, following all applicable regulations and professional standards.
• Supervise and mentor assigned support staff, ensuring their adherence to best practices in patient care and documentation.
• Participate actively in team meetings and community outreach initiatives, contributing ideas for continuous quality improvement and effective marketing strategies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through attending in-services, workshops, and continuing education programs to enhance your competency and the quality of care provided to patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or disabilities, spanning a diverse demographic that includes individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy and BLS certification are required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication skills, alongside basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.

Preferred Experience
