Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and formulate individualized treatment plans aligned with their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement various therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy techniques, exercise programs, and modalities to aid in the recovery process.
• Monitor and analyze treatment progression, adapting protocols as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation strategies, home exercises, and preventive care methods.
• Document patient care services accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) using systems like WebPT, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to create an integrated approach to patient care and ensure continuity of treatment.
• Set the pace for patient visits efficiently, seeing 2-3 patients per hour while maintaining high standards of care.
• Inspire and motivate patients by emphasizing the importance of commitment to therapy and an active lifestyle.
• Continuously educate yourself on latest techniques in orthopedic outpatient care to provide cutting-edge therapy services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients requiring rehabilitation after orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. This diverse patient population is composed of athletes, active individuals, and those recovering from various physical challenges. You will be dedicated to enhancing their emotions and empowering them to regain independence in their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, or equivalent.
• Licensure: Active state Physical Therapist License with no board actions or disciplinary actions.
• Skills: Advanced manual therapy skills and proficiency in using EMR software, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient care is preferred, demonstrating expertise in managing varied patient needs.
• Experience working in home care settings is a plus, showcasing adaptability and a genuine commitment to patient-centric services.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
