Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical abilities through detailed examinations and interviews, establishing their rehabilitation needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize a combination of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment.
• Monitor patient progress by documenting treatments, responses, and outcomes, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Conduct regular re-evaluations, updating treatment goals and methodologies to reflect patients' advancements and challenges.
• Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process, providing them with strategies and tools to manage their recovery effectively.
• Incorporate training sessions for caregivers, ensuring they understand how to assist their loved ones with rehabilitative techniques and the use of assistive devices.
• Maintain up-to-date professional knowledge and adherence to industry standards by engaging in continuous learning opportunities, attending workshops, and participating in relevant training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The typical patient population you will serve includes individuals recovering from surgeries, accidents, strokes, or those managing chronic conditions that affect mobility and function. Our clientele ranges from children to elderly adults, all requiring varying degrees of physical rehabilitation care. Your ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient age, diagnosis, and preferences will be crucial to achieving positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) are preferred.
• A valid physical therapy license issued by the state of Virginia.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating clear interaction with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient computer skills, including the ability to record and analyze patient data digitally.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to balance a flexible schedule while providing attentive patient care.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting (home care experience is advantageous but not essential).
• Previous work with diverse patient populations and comfortable adapting therapeutic techniques to meet individual needs.
• Experience in providing mentorship or training for less-experienced staff members or students.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
