Motion Menders Therapy is seeking a passionate and skilled full-time Physical Therapist for our Leesburg, Virginia location. Work Environment

This full-time position is completely onsite, as you will be traveling to clients' homes in Leesburg and the surrounding areas to provide compassionate care. The role requires a hands-on approach, allowing you to work directly with clients in a familiar environment that promotes comfort and engagement. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute personalized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability and relieving pain, while also focusing on restoring muscle function and enhancing performance.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, utilizing diagnostic and prognostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities tests.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants to guarantee effective treatment implementation as per the established plan of care.
• Analyze the home environment to recommend necessary modifications that support client rehabilitation and independence.
• Deliver direct physical therapy services as prescribed by referring physicians, employing techniques such as manual therapeutic exercises, traction, and the application of various physical agents.
• Assess and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices as needed, providing proactive recommendations to the referring physician.
• Document clinical records meticulously, preparing initial evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to evaluate and refine comprehensive care approaches for clients, collaborating closely with other healthcare providers.
• Provide education and training to clients and their families regarding therapy programs and the usage of physical therapy equipment.
• Maintain timely submission of clinical orders and documentation, following company policies for both clinical and payroll records.
• Create a supportive and instructive environment for Physical Therapy Assistants while ensuring they adhere to state laws during client interactions.
• Continuously assess and revise treatment plans based on client progress and feedback, ensuring optimal utilization of community resources.
• Complete additional assignments as required to support the overall mission of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily working with adult and geriatric clients, many of whom may have chronic conditions or disabilities that affect their mobility and functional independence. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a physical therapy role, preferably within home care or acute care settings.
• Current Physical Therapist licensure in good standing in the state of Virginia.
• Certification in CPR and valid driver's license with marital insurance coverage.
• A strong commitment to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and continuous quality improvement.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, demonstrating a collaborative spirit with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
