TruSolutions Therapy Care is actively seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis at our rehabilitation center located in Leesburg, Virginia. Work Environment

This full-time position is located onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Leesburg, VA. Our facility is designed to promote wellness and effective rehabilitation outcomes, providing both employees and patients with a comfortable and supportive environment. Work hours are structured to accommodate patient needs:

• Monday - Thursday: 3 pm - 7 pm
• Friday: 4 hour day shift

Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will undertake a variety of responsibilities to enhance patient care and recovery. Key tasks include:

• Conducting thorough screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments for patients with injuries, diseases, and disabilities.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive patient evaluations, diagnosis, and physician referrals.
• Educating patients and their caregivers on therapeutic techniques and wellness strategies to promote recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Maintaining situational awareness of the latest trends in physical therapy practices, ensuring high-quality care tailored to each patient's needs.
• Documenting patient progress and treatment modifications meticulously, adhering to regulatory standards and facility protocols.
• Supervising and directing the activities of physical therapy assistants, aides, and students, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and operational oversight to enhance departmental efficiency and effectiveness, including assisting with scheduling and resource management.
• Actively engaging in professional development through ongoing education and training opportunities, thereby enriching the team's collective knowledge and capabilities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a wide spectrum of patients, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations. You will tailor therapy interventions to address unique conditions and functional impairments, promoting optimal recovery and improved quality of life for each individual you serve.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A current physical therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• A Bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited physical therapy program. A Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Demonstrable clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a healthcare setting, preferably in a rehabilitation environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Physical capabilities to carry out job responsibilities including lifting, standing, walking, and manual dexterity.

Preferred Experience

Experience with patient rehabilitation programs, particularly those catering to the varied needs of diverse populations, will be advantageous. Familiarity with the use of advanced therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation technologies is also preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
