Care First Motion Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Leesburg, Virginia. Our 5,000 square foot sports medicine and therapy center is equipped with modern technologies and tools to ensure effective treatment. We primarily serve a clientele with private medical insurance, emphasizing tailored experiences that meet our patients' unique needs.

Work Environment

This position is onsite, providing direct patient care within our rehabilitation center. Our supportive work setting includes a close-knit team of two other physical therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) who collaborate to create a positive therapeutic experience. Our working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life routine.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and meet individual patient goals through personalized therapy plans and assessments.
• Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring quality attention and tailored interventions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop comprehensive treatment strategies for each patient.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques to enhance motion and mobility, aiming to reduce dependency on medications and the potential for surgery.
• Create and implement fitness and wellness programs tailored to the specific needs of patients.
• Provide motivation and emotional support to patients throughout their treatment journey to foster optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Document all aspects of patient care services and effective treatment strategies using EMR software, ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice focuses primarily on orthopedic outpatient care, catering to a diverse population of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist, your role will be vital as you engage with patients from various backgrounds and with different rehabilitation needs, ensuring a personalized and effective approach to therapy.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid Physical Therapist License in the state of Virginia; no pending disciplinary actions.
• Skills: Strong manual therapy skills and exercise prescription abilities; experience with EMR systems like WebPT is essential.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in implementing treatment plans and evidence-based interventions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients quickly.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, reflecting your qualifications and experience.
