Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time

Position Overview

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation facility located in Leesburg, Virginia. Our dedicated team comprises three skilled physical therapists who collaborate to provide personalized patient care. We primarily serve patients covered by commercial insurance as well as private pay clients, ensuring a wide range of care options tailored to individual needs.

Work Environment

This role is based in our onsite rehabilitation facility in Leesburg, Virginia, where you will work from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with flexible scheduling options available. Our office embraces a supportive team culture and values a collaborative approach to patient care, where the sharing of knowledge and treatment strategies is encouraged. You will utilize the Athena Health EMR system to document patient interactions and maintain accurate treatment records.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient goals and needs, tailoring treatment plans to each individual's specific conditions.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, seeing patients every 40 minutes, offering significant individualized attention.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities and techniques to foster improved mobility, reduce pain, and promote healing.
• Develop comprehensive care plans incorporating targeted therapies, preventative measures, and lifestyle modifications.
• Motivate and empower patients throughout their treatment journey, enhancing their physical function and encouraging adherence to prescribed exercises.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and address multidisciplinary needs of patients.
• Regularly assess and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as required to achieve desired outcomes.
• Educate patients on health and wellness, advocating for preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility caters to a diverse group of patients, including athletes seeking rehabilitation for sports-related injuries and individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries or chronic conditions. You will play a pivotal role in helping these clients regain strength, balance, and mobility while addressing their unique healthcare needs.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting is essential.
• A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Virginia.
• A graduate degree in Physical Therapy—either a Master's or a Doctorate (MS or DPT) is required.
• Strong clinical knowledge paired with the ability to manage a variety of patient personalities and conditions.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
• A passion for ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, or similar specialties is preferred.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Athena Health, is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary range of USD 80,000 to 95,000 per year, commensurate with experience and expertise. As a W2 employee, you will also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
