Key Responsibilities

• Engage in comprehensive evaluations that include taking patient histories, conducting assessments, and obtaining relevant data to establish effective treatment plans.

• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress, including detailed encounter notes and discharge summaries, to provide clear insights into each patient's rehabilitation journey.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient care needs, referral processes, and modifications to treatment plans as necessary.
• Facilitate discharge planning processes and follow-up care, ensuring that patients have the resources and support needed for a successful recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients navigating orthopedic recovery. This can include individuals who have experienced surgical interventions, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. By leveraging your clinical expertise and interpersonal skills, you will help empower these patients on their journey to improved mobility, vitality, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred to align with evolving standards in the profession.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association is a must.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy practice is required, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation settings.
• Experience with home care services and familiarity with the specific challenges involved in delivering therapy in a patient's home environment is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
