Work Environment

This position is designed for professionals who thrive in an onsite work setting, providing home care services to individuals in Dulles, Virginia, and the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients by reviewing their medical history, conducting physical examinations, and using diagnostic tools to establish tailored treatment plans.
• Implement individualized therapeutic programs that align with the physician's plan of care, employing evidence-based techniques specific to each patient's needs.
• Deliver high-quality home-based physical therapy through skilled interventions aimed at achieving meaningful changes in patients' functional abilities.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on rehabilitation exercises and home care strategies to facilitate ongoing recovery and prevent re-injury.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to share patient progress and collaborate on best practices to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Maintain documentation and reporting standards, ensuring compliance with organizational protocols, while meeting minimum utilization goals and other business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse array of patients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, pediatric cases, neurological disorders, and sports-related injuries. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Active State License in Physical Therapy is mandatory for practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association is essential.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to establish meaningful relationships with patients and families.
• Proficiency in technology, including word processing and electronic medical records systems.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy is preferred, particularly with home health or outpatient settings. Lengthy exposure to diverse patient populations and advanced therapeutic techniques will provide an advantage in delivering effective care.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
