Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to understand their physical therapy needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that address a range of conditions, calculating progress to adjust therapy as needed for optimal outcomes.
• Provide hands-on treatment utilizing various techniques and modalities to enhance function and mobility.
• Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment plans, and home exercise programs to promote understanding and compliance.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to advocate for the patient's needs and adjust treatment approaches based on their progress.
• Meet established productivity goals while ensuring high-quality care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurologic disorders, pediatric conditions, and sports-related injuries. Your interventions will cater to each individual's needs, emphasizing functional improvement and restoration of day-to-day activities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy, demonstrating your professional qualification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, caregivers, and team members.
• Proficiency in using computer software for documentation and patient management, as well as general word processing skills.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of relevant experience in physical therapy is preferred, particularly in home health settings or with similar patient populations. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies will enhance your ability to provide the highest standard of care.

Compensation and Benefits
