Work Environment

The ideal candidate will work in our modern outpatient facility located in the heart of Fredericksburg, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients and develop tailored treatment plans based on physician referrals.
• Implement and monitor therapeutic interventions across various specialties, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Utilize evidence-based practice to deliver quality care that optimizes patient outcomes and meets their individual rehabilitation goals.
• Provide clear and compassionate education to patients and their families regarding treatment processes, expected outcomes, and home exercise programs.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with the healthcare team to enhance the effectiveness of treatment protocols and share best practices.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster strong relationships with patients, ensuring they remain motivated throughout their recovery.
• Achieve established performance metrics and business objectives while contributing to a positive team atmosphere.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the unique opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, children with developmental challenges, and adults managing chronic pain or post-surgical rehabilitation. Our holistic approach emphasizes individualized care, ensuring each patient receives the attention and support necessary to meet their specific needs.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a capacity to educate patients effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
• A strong commitment to building rapport with patients and fostering a supportive community presence.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of physical therapy experience is preferred, particularly in an outpatient setting with hands-on treatment capabilities. Experience in working with a varied clientele, specifically in orthopedics and neurology, will be especially valuable. Candidates with a demonstrated understanding of evidence-based practice methodologies will excel in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, with annual earnings between USD 100,000 and 120,000, reflecting your experience and contributions to our team. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
