Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Deep Care Physical Therapy, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, utilizing advanced techniques to address orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, and sports medicine conditions.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care directly in patients' homes, adapting therapy techniques to their unique living environments.
• Provide education and training to patients and their families regarding treatment protocols, exercises, and recovery goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and outcomes while meeting quality and compliance standards.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and actively contribute to a positive patient experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse patient population including individuals recovering from surgeries, those living with chronic conditions, young children in need of supportive treatment, and athletes requiring rehabilitation for sports-related injuries. Your ability to connect with patients on a personal level will enhance their engagement and adherence to therapy, ultimately leading to improved health outcomes.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, combined with adeptness in using electronic health records and word processing software.

Preferred Experience
