Work Environment

This role is based onsite, providing in-home physical therapy services to patients in Stafford and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients referred by physicians, focusing on their individual needs and limitations.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques.
• Deliver skilled therapeutic care directly in patients' homes, ensuring adherence to each physician's plan of care while observing safe practice standards.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to engage patients across specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine. For example, adapt a treatment strategy that helps a post-operative knee patient regain mobility quickly.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on daily living activities and therapeutic exercises to promote independent movement.
• Foster strong relationships with every patient, actively listening to their concerns and celebrating their progress towards achieving functional goals.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contributing insights and suggestions that enhance patient outcomes and overall effectiveness of care.
• Meet or exceed utilization goals and other key performance indicators set by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clinical expertise will cater to diverse patient populations, ranging from children with developmental challenges to elderly patients recovering from surgery. You will be instrumental in addressing specific needs, such as helping an athlete return to competitive form or assisting an elderly individual in regaining mobility post-injury, demonstrating adaptability to varying patient backgrounds and therapeutic requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program recognized by APTA or CAPTE.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and patient management workflows.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of direct physical therapy experience, particularly in a home health setting.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations and a variety of physiotherapeutic techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish trust with patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, plus performance-based incentives.
