Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough assessments to screen, evaluate, and diagnose patients with various injuries, diseases, and disabilities.
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, incorporating evidence-based physical therapy practices.
• Providing hands-on treatment strategies and modalities, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation) that align with industry standards.
• Educating and guiding patients and their caregivers about their conditions and the steps to enhance recovery.
• Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Communicating effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Implementing and adhering to departmental productivity standards while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Participating in continuous professional development through training, mentoring, and attending workshops and seminars relevant to physical therapy practice.
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives to enhance treatment outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population that includes neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will be critical in addressing the unique needs of each demographic, ensuring that your approach incorporates the latest research and techniques relevant to their age and physical conditions. You will cultivate meaningful relationships with patients, fostering a supportive environment that encourages their active participation in the healing process.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A current state Physical Therapist license to practice.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, ideally within rehabilitation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits
