Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Viability Physical Therapy, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions, utilizing advanced assessment techniques to determine individual needs.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor patient progress through detailed documentation of treatments, responses, and outcomes, ensuring all modifications to treatment plans are communicated effectively.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective self-management techniques to optimize recovery and prevent future complications.
• Collaborate with other rehabilitation team members to ensure comprehensive care strategies that lead to successful patient outcomes.
• Attend regular professional development workshops and training sessions to stay current on best practices and contribute to the evolution of our therapeutic methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse population, including children and adults with various diagnoses. Your expertise will be critical in guiding patients through post-operative recovery, injury rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.

Preferred Experience
