Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations by reviewing patient history, performing specific assessments, and documenting findings to create tailored treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment plans effectively to patients and their families, ensuring active involvement in goal-setting and decision-making processes.
• Demonstrate expertise in executing treatment protocols based on individual patient presentations, optimizing care strategies according to evolving healthcare guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to devise comprehensive care strategies that enhance patient wellbeing and recovery outcomes.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to align with therapeutic goals and patient feedback.
• Educate patients on exercises, rehabilitation techniques, and self-management strategies to foster independence and improve self-efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse patient population, including individuals suffering from chronic pain, post-surgical rehabilitation needs, sports-related injuries, and conditions related to scoliosis. Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Demonstrated understanding of physical therapy principles, patient assessment techniques, and treatment methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to inspire trust and confidence in patients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient care efficiently.
• Background in specialized areas such as orthopedic rehabilitation, neurologic rehabilitation, or sports medicine.
• Previous teaching or mentoring experience in a clinical setting is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience and education.
