Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations by reviewing patient history, performing assessments, and developing tailored treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Engage with patients and their families to clearly explain evaluation results and involve them in setting realistic rehabilitation goals.
• Deliver effective, evidence-based treatments that address each patient's unique needs and adapt methodologies as necessary based on their progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to discuss patient care plans and address any changes in condition that may necessitate adjustments to treatment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, including evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Manage time effectively to meet productivity expectations and actively participate in clinic marketing efforts to enhance community outreach.
• Contribute to departmental objectives and goals, adhering to all regulatory standards and continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
• Engage in ongoing education initiatives, pursuing professional growth while serving as a mentor to students and new staff.
• Promote a patient-centered approach that enhances access to care and delivers a positive experience for all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, those with chronic pain, sports injuries, and various neurological conditions. Our approach is centered around understanding each patient's unique circumstances and tailoring treatment plans that prioritize their rehabilitation goals and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia, required to practice professionally.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and patient engagement.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in rehabilitation facilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple patient cases simultaneously.
• Experience with patient documentation software and health management systems is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
