Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tailored physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and enhancing muscle function, based on each client's unique needs and physician directives.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring the effective execution of the care plan and fostering a collaborative atmosphere for optimal patient outcomes.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical capabilities through diagnostic assessments, employing tests of muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities.
• Assess clients' home environments to identify modifications that may promote independence and enhance rehabilitation efforts.
• Deliver therapeutic services such as manual exercises, traction, and physical agent applications as per physician prescriptions, ensuring compliance with established safety and quality standards.
• Prepare detailed clinical documentation, including initial evaluations and progress notes, to maintain accurate client records and contribute to the overall continuity of care.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and recommendations to improve comprehensive treatment strategies for clients.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families about physical therapy techniques and equipment, empowering them in their recovery journey.
• Adhere strictly to regulatory requirements and internal policies when submitting documentation and clinical orders, ensuring timely compliance.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices and regulatory changes in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist with Motion Menders Therapy, you will primarily serve adult and geriatric clients, many of whom will require rehabilitation after surgeries, injury recovery, or chronic disease management. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
