This position is based in a home care setting, where you will work closely with patients in the comfort of their own environments. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient needs and establish treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing a wide range of therapeutic techniques.
• Provide high-quality physical therapy services, including manual therapy and exercise regimens designed for rehabilitating orthopedic conditions.
• Ensure a manageable caseload by seeing one patient per hour and dedicating time to their unique recovery journey.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) software such as WebPT for accurate documentation and service tracking.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress, recommending adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and address any additional needs.
• Incorporate wellness and preventive strategies to empower patients in maintaining their health post-recovery.
• Advocate for non-surgical pain relief options and educate patients on lifestyle modifications for better outcomes.
• Document all patient services thoroughly to maintain records and comply with best practice standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic primarily includes individuals covered by private medical insurance seeking effective orthopedic rehabilitation. You will work with patients recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or facing mobility challenges due to injury or lifestyle factors. Tailoring your approach based on the specific requirements of each patient is crucial to fostering their recovery journey and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Proven track record of professional conduct with no record of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and experience in developing effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with EMR platforms, especially WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years' experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating proficiency in patient assessment and treatment.
• A background in sports medicine practices would be an advantage, given our emphasis on high-performance care.
• Ability to engage and motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey.

Compensation and Benefits
