Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our Rehabilitation Center in Fredericksburg, you will work onsite, providing in-person consultations and therapies to our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, documenting findings accurately in verbal and written formats.

• Supervise and mentor support staff, ensuring that they adhere to treatment protocols and documentation standards.
• Maintain adherence to all regulatory requirements, documenting services rendered and submitting billing information as required.
• Participate in departmental meetings and commit to professional development by attending training and continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve treating patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation and chronic pain management. We serve a wide-ranging patient demographic, from children to elderly individuals, and you will be required to adapt your approach to meet the diverse needs of each patient.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Proficient in basic computer applications and electronic medical record systems.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred.
• Experience working with outpatient rehabilitation settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
