Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Fredericksburg—a facility equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies and resources. Working a standard 40-hour week from Monday to Friday, our collaborative environment encourages professional development and hands-on teamwork while delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their individual needs and goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring adherence to each patient's physician-approved plan of care.
• Provide skilled therapeutic services in the clinical setting and, when necessary, within the patient's residence, utilizing various modalities and techniques to enhance their recovery process.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service by actively engaging with patients and their families to guide and support them throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to maximize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in ongoing assessment and reevaluation of treatment effectiveness.
• Educate patients and their caregivers regarding treatment options, home programs, and strategies for self-management.
• Meet established productivity goals and other operational targets set forth by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients facing a variety of orthopedic issues, including but not limited to post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. The diverse patient population also includes individuals in need of pediatric and neurologic rehabilitation, providing an opportunity to expand your therapeutic expertise in different specialties.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current active state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic documentation systems.

Preferred Experience

• Previous clinical experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or related settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and develop therapeutic relationships with patients.
• Experience utilizing a variety of physical therapy modalities and treatment techniques to improve patient outcomes.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the field of physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
