Our facility boasts a spacious, state-of-the-art 5000 square feet sports medicine environment designed to optimize patient recovery. Our professional team includes two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, all committed to delivering exceptional patient care tailored to individual needs.

Work Environment

This position is onsite, providing services directly within our outpatient clinic located in Fredericksburg, VA. We promote a collaborative and supportive work culture where you will have the opportunity to work closely with fellow therapists and health professionals. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, facilitating a healthy work-life balance for our team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Recognize and address the unique goals and needs of each patient, ensuring personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one individual per hour to provide quality care and attention.
• Utilize prior experience in orthopedic outpatient care to guide effective treatment strategies.
• Implement cost-effective interventions designed to enhance patient mobility and overall physical function.
• Focus on reducing dependency on medications by recommending alternative, non-surgical interventions.
• Develop and execute comprehensive care plans that encompass a mix of therapeutic techniques and exercises.
• Design tailored fitness and wellness programs aimed at meeting specific patient requirements and objectives.
• Deliver evidence-based care, consistently adhering to established standards and protocols.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey to achieve optimal functionality.
• Promote and educate patients about healthy lifestyle choices that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor patient progress, and maintain clear, open lines of communication.
• Accurately document all services provided for patient care according to regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our practice is serving individuals with private medical insurance who are seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions. Our patient population may include post-surgical patients, athletes recovering from injuries, and individuals managing chronic pain. Your efforts will directly contribute to improving their quality of life and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Valid and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Fredericksburg, VA.
• No board actions or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong skills in manual therapy and physical rehabilitation techniques.
• Competence in developing effective and individualized exercise regimens.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, and the ability to utilize it effectively.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desired. Familiarity with advanced therapeutic techniques, sports injuries, and rehabilitation exercise protocols are advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others reclaim their mobility are essential traits for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to USD 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
