This role requires you to work onsite at our rehabilitation facility located in Stafford, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, creating tailored treatment plans to address their specific needs.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic methods, including exercises, stretching techniques, and hands-on therapy, to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Implement individualized treatment strategies aimed at achieving each patient's therapeutic goals while continuously monitoring and adjusting these plans based on patient progress.
• Document all treatment sessions, responses, and progress in compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards.
• Regularly re-evaluate and redefine patient-specific goals and treatment approaches to maximize recovery outcomes.
• Advise on and fit patients for assistive devices, promoting independence in their daily living activities and mobility.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and the effective use of assistive modalities to ensure continuity of care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, peer collaborations, and participation in relevant professional societies to remain current in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve at Legacy Physical Therapist range from children to elderly adults with a variety of conditions, including orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
