Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of patients referred by physicians to determine individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing treatment interventions across various specialties such as orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Demonstrating exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care aimed at maximizing outcomes.
• Providing skilled therapeutic care and utilizing proven procedures and techniques to promote functional improvements consistent with physician directives.
• Educating patients and their caregivers about conditions and treatment plans to empower and inspire confidence.
• Meeting minimum utilization goals and contributing to the operational effectiveness of our practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and chronic conditions. Your role will involve not only treating the physical aspects of these conditions but also fostering a supportive environment to encourage patient engagement and compliance with therapy plans.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid DPT license in the state of Virginia.
• Graduation from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)-approved physical therapy program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records.
• An ability to establish and maintain meaningful relationships with patients and the community.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with at least two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, showcasing their capacity to manage a varied caseload effectively. Experience demonstrating evidence-based approaches to care is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including:
