Work Environment

This position is based at our Rehabilitation Facility in Stafford, Virginia, where you will work as part of a dynamic and interactive team. Our working hours are structured around a standard Monday to Friday schedule, totaling approximately 40 hours weekly, enabling a work-life balance that benefits both caregivers and patients alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, gathering pertinent medical histories and discussing specifics of the recommended treatment plan.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs tailored to the unique needs of each patient, ensuring adherence to best practices in physical therapy.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, modalities, exercises, and rehabilitation protocols, to facilitate patient recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about the treatment processes, exercises, and techniques to empower their recovery journey.
• Monitor patients' progress closely, making necessary adjustments to treatment programs based on observed responses to therapy.
• Foster strong relationships with patients, ensuring they feel valued and understood throughout their treatment process.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Allied Care Solutions, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including those experiencing orthopedic issues, pediatric conditions, neurological disorders, and sports injuries. Your ability to adapt treatment plans to suit varying ages and conditions will be crucial in helping each individual achieve their rehabilitation goals. Qualifications

• Successful candidate must be a graduate of an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory, while a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy and Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association are required.
• Capable of strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in using relevant computer systems and therapeutic software.
• A proven track record of establishing rapport with patients; empathy and communication are critical skills in this setting.
• Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills and maintain accurate patient documentation as per our policies.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two (2) years of related experience is required, with experience in diverse treatment settings considered an asset.
• Experience in evidence-based practices and a commitment to continual professional development will enhance your candidacy.
• Current CPR certification is also necessary to ensure patient safety within our facility.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and credentials.
