Work Environment

This position is located in a rehabilitation facility where teamwork, professionalism, and patient care excellence are paramount. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans addressing their unique goals and requirements.
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies and a variety of treatment techniques to improve patient mobility and function.
• Implement cost-effective, non-surgical treatment options to reduce reliance on medications.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure each patient receives the attention and care needed for optimal recovery.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, focusing on sustained improvement and independence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes and ensure comprehensive care.
• Regularly monitor and document patients' progress using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to maintain accurate and detailed records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will encounter patients of various age groups, each with distinct rehabilitation needs. Your approach will be instrumental in tailoring treatment plans to support recovery and enhance physical capabilities across all demographics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong foundation in orthopedic care with a focus on outpatient services.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques to complement exercise-based interventions.
• Proficiency in EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient and accurate documentation practices.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Atlantic Health Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
