Position Overview

Ascove Fitness and Rehab, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to enhance our outpatient clinic located in Stafford, Virginia. In this critical role, you will work closely with patients to help restore their mobility while improving their overall quality of life. Work Environment

This is a full-time position, with a scheduled working week from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a predictable routine. You will work onsite in our outpatient office in Stafford, equipped with modern therapy equipment and resources, enabling you to deliver high-quality care in a focused, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of each patient's physical condition and functional abilities to create tailored treatment plans.
• Implement and adjust therapy interventions based on progress, ensuring patients receive the most effective techniques for their recovery.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, ensuring you can devote adequate time and attention to each individual case.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver cost-effective treatments that enhance patients' motion and mobility.
• Educate patients on non-surgical options and emphasize a holistic approach to rehabilitation, minimizing reliance on medications.
• Work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for your patients.
• Continuously track and document treatment effects, adjustments, and patient progress using our advanced electronic medical records (EMR) software, primarily Web PT.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their therapy journey, focusing on overall wellness and lifestyle changes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary clientele will include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and age-related musculoskeletal issues. Our patients range from athletes looking to return to peak performance to elderly clients seeking to regain independence and improve their mobility.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) obtained from an accredited program.
• Active and valid Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with a clean record demonstrating no sanctions or disciplinary measures.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques, including experience with various modalities.
• Capable of designing and implementing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Strong familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, to maintain precise and comprehensive documentation of patient care.
• Current knowledge of contemporary physical therapy practices grounded in the latest research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in rehabilitative principles.
• Background in sports medicine rehabilitation or similar areas.
• Previous involvement in developing wellness programs or patient education initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
