Work Environment

As part of the Key Rehab Orthopedic Clinic, you will work onsite in a modern rehabilitation center equipped with advanced therapeutic modalities. The collaborative environment promotes communication and teamwork among healthcare providers while allowing for innovative treatment approaches. Your workweek will be structured from Monday to Friday, with shifts running from 9 AM to 5 PM, creating a balanced work-life schedule that supports both your professional and personal needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized assessment and treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific orthopedic needs, allowing for a personalized approach.
• Manage a reasonable caseload of patients, ensuring dedicated time and focus for each individual to maximize their rehabilitation outcomes.
• Employ evidence-based interventions and therapeutic exercises to enhance patients' mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Encourage patients to adopt non-surgical alternatives and minimize medication reliance, emphasizing a holistic approach to pain management.
• Continuously evaluate and document patient progress while adjusting treatment plans based on their individual responses.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care and ensure seamless transitions in services.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey, providing education on injury prevention and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on an outpatient population primarily consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Patients range from athletes seeking to return to peak performance levels to older adults looking to regain strength and mobility after injuries or surgeries. Your expertise will help address diverse patient goals and challenges, enhancing their recovery experience and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Hold an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no history of sanctions.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge in orthopedic rehabilitation and familiarity with a range of manual therapy techniques.
• Exhibit a proven ability to design and implement effective therapeutic exercise programs.
• Must be proficient in the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, for maintaining accurate patient documentation.
• Stay current with the latest research-based practices in physical therapy to ensure the highest standard of care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in patient education and community outreach programs related to rehabilitation.
• Experience working collaboratively within a team-based environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
