This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, designed to provide a welcoming and effective treatment space. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their needs, level of pain, range of motion, and overall physical capacity.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific orthopedic issues, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation, to relieve pain and improve mobility.
• Continuously track patients' progress, documenting improvements and adapting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and training to patients, their families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and home exercises to facilitate recovery.
• Stay current in the field through participation in workshops and professional development opportunities, ensuring the highest quality care standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the facility to create a unified approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients, primarily focusing on those recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. Our clientele includes children and adults, each with unique rehabilitation needs. Understanding the individual circumstances and goals of each patient is essential in providing tailored care that leads to improved functionality and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective patient education and collaboration with team members.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems for documenting patient information and treatment plans.
• A proactive approach, demonstrating flexibility and agility in adjusting treatment plans based on patient progress.

Preferred Experience

While prior work experience in a clinical setting is advantageous, we welcome applications from new graduates who possess a strong academic background and a genuine desire to learn and grow. Our supportive environment is particularly conducive to developing new therapists.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, complemented by a generous benefits package.
