Work Environment

This role is based in our outpatient office located in Stafford, Virginia, wholly focused on providing orthopedic therapy services. Here, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including doctors and rehabilitation specialists, to develop and implement effective treatment plans catered to the specific needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to relevant state practice acts while supervising and delivering tailored physical therapy services to patients in line with regulatory standards.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities, developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols that align with patient presentations and continuously evolving healthcare practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, effectively communicating changes in patient conditions that may necessitate modifications to the treatment plan.
• Record and document patient care activities accurately, including evaluation findings and progress notes, ensuring clarity in patient records, which is essential for ongoing care continuity.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and clinical training requirements, maintaining a thorough understanding of state, local, and federal regulations.
• Provide thorough discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure the best outcomes as patients transition from therapy.
• Participate in facility meetings and actively engage in initiatives that remove barriers to patient access, striving for continuous improvement in service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients are primarily individuals seeking recovery from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other mobility challenges. You will work closely with this diverse demographic, tailoring your approach to address varied physical therapy needs and promoting optimal health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist is mandatory, ensuring the legal ability to practice within Virginia.
• Two years of demonstrated experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is essential, providing a robust understanding of therapeutic practices.
• A current CPR certification is required to ensure patient safety during therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
