Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Motion Well, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Consulting with patients to thoroughly assess their physical condition, symptoms, and rehabilitation needs.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunction through physical assessments and patient histories, and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Educating patients on the proper use of therapeutic exercise techniques to facilitate recovery and improve mobility.
• Utilizing hands-on techniques such as manual therapy, stimulation, or massage to promote healing and alleviate pain.
• Assisting patients in the safe and effective use of mobility equipment, such as wheelchairs and walkers, to enhance their functional independence.
• Documenting patient records meticulously, tracking progress against established goals to inform ongoing treatment strategies.
• Advising patients and their families on in-home treatment exercises, fostering greater engagement in recovery outside of clinical sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Your ability to connect with and understand the unique needs of each patient will be vital in providing effective treatment that enhances their quality of life.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (Doctor's Degree preferred).
• A valid Physical Therapy State License.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective patient and team interaction.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic health record systems for efficient documentation.
• A commitment to providing high-quality care and a passion for helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Flexibility and agility in adapting to a variety of patient needs and therapy techniques.

Preferred Experience

While no prior experience is required, a minimum of 2 years in a clinical environment is preferred. Experience working in rehabilitation settings with a focus on patient-centered care will contribute greatly to your success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
